Assists individuals who may be experiencing a crisis to access support and services as quickly as possible. Serves all of Salt Lake County 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Teams assist and support individuals dealing with a mental health crisis by going to the individual wherever they are in Salt Lake County. Accessed through the Crisis Line.

Phone line open 365 days a year from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Provides a friendly and understanding person for those who need someone to talk to and enables individuals with a mental health challenge to talk to a peer about issues they are facing in their lives.

As the administrator of the Medicaid Behavioral Health funds for Salt Lake County Division of Behavioral Health, Optum SLCo works to partner with providers to provide a continuum of services for Medicaid Members.

OQ®/Y-OQ® reporting
The OQ®/YOQ® is a tool designed to support treatment planning and a therapeutic focus for clients. The OQ®/YOQ® measures are to be administered at intake and every 30 days during treatment. The State of Utah requires it’s use. Optum SLCo partners with Salt Lake County and OQ® Measures to make the OQ®/YOQ® available to all providers at no cost. If you have questions regarding access to the OQ®/YOQ®, please contact the Optum SLCo Compliance Manager at 1-800-640-5349.
ProviderConnect NX™

ProviderConnect NX™ is our provider portal and is your primary tool for managing secure transactions including, admission, Timely Access data entry, Mental Health Event Record data entry, TEDS data entry, claim submission, and self-generated reports. ProviderConnect NX™ may also be referred to as PCNX™.

PCNX™ requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), an added layer of security when accessing third party applications and helping to ensure PHI/PII is secure.  After the user has completed MFA setup, PCNX™ may be accessed using the web browser of Chrome or Edge.   No other software installation is required at the provider facility.

Meeting and training calendar

Optum is pleased to work with our network to provide training opportunities. Please be sure to take note of registration requirements. Most registrations will close the week prior to the offered training to allow for proper planning of webinar resources as well as provide participants with necessary information to join the sessions.

OptumHealth Education

OptumHealth Education is a national eLearning portal that is targeted towards medical professionals (MD, PhD, R.N., P.A.) and offers CME and CEU based courses in behavioral health and related learning areas. Network providers can register for a free account at OptumHealth Education website.
